Honey-oak cabinets from the 1990s, in good shape, with a layout the owner liked. We changed the color, not the kitchen.
The owner was ready to spend $30,000 on a remodel. The boxes were solid, the layout worked, and the only thing that bothered her was the orange oak.
Luis’s crew took every door and drawer front to our finishing room, degreased and sanded them, primed with a bonding primer and sprayed two coats of cabinet enamel: navy on the lower cabinets, white on the uppers. We finished the frames on-site and re-hung everything with new soft-close hinges.
The result
Six working days, with the kitchen usable the whole time, and a different room for a fraction of the cost of replacing the cabinets.
“I was ready to rip out my kitchen. Luis and Beth sprayed the cabinets in a clean room set up in my garage, and they came back looking like brand-new shaker doors.”
